Description

Mobeye Argos Container alarm

The Mobeye Argos Container alarm is the container version of the Mobeye Argos. The Argos CA is an all-in-one GSM alarm system with many features and extension options. Ideal for shipping container security. For those situations where the internal antenna will not be able to connect to a GSM mast, the external mushroom antenna is the solution. The Mobeye Argos Container Alarm can be placed inside a metal object or any other place with a weak GSM network reach. The external antenna, with its 2,5 meter cable, can be attached outside.

The Mobeye GSM stand-alone PIR alarm system is easy to use, flexible and highly reliable. The ideal system for locations without power and temporary security applications. Based on the extremely popular Mobeye i110 GSM PIR, the Argos adds additional features to give the user greater flexibility.

Container Alarm

The Mobeye Argos Container Alarm is a battery-operated and flexible GSM alarm system with integrated PIR sensor. The Argos-CA version has an external mushroom antenna with 2,5 m cable to be used in a metal container or any other location with a weak GSM network strength. It ensures that the unit is able to call and send the SMS text message after an intrusion or temperature alarm.

How does the Container Alarm work

  • Find or make a small hole in the wall of the shipping container, preferably close to the doors.
  • Bring the antenna from the outside to the inside and fix the antenna with the included screw-nut.
  • Insert a SIM card and the included batteries in the Argos and program at least one telephone number as alarm receiving number. If desired the Mobeye Argos CA can send test messages with a self-chosen interval.
  • As SIM card we advise the Mobeye SIM card so you can use the Mobeye Internet Portal as management tool. Alternatively, you use your own (normal) SIM card.
  • Battery life time is over a year. Once the batteries need to be replaced, you will receive a message.
  • Activate the alarm system by code or time schedule, feel safe and protect your belongings!

Choose for comfort and use the Mobeye alarm system stand-alone or in combination with the Mobeye Internet Portal.
The all-in-one GSM alarm system sends alarm messages to the set contact persons.
The Mobeye alarm system can also be linked to the Mobeye Internet Portal. For a reasonable fee you have a SIM card, flat fee and a management tool for your Mobeye devices.

Choice 1: use your own SIM card and deploy the Mobeye alarm system “stand-alone”

  • Works with a SIM card of any network operator, which you arrange yourself.
  • Upon an alarm, the Mobeye system calls and/or sends SMS alerts to the set telephone numbers.
  • At low battery voltage, the telephone number at the first position receives a warning SMS alert.
  • The alarm system can send SMS ‘test messages’ periodically, to the telephone number at the first position.

Choice 2: activate the Mobeye SIM card and link your device to the Mobeye Internet Portal
By using the supplied Mobeye SIM card and registering the Mobeye device in the internet portal, numerous features are added:

  • A SIM card that always chooses the best network available (provider independent).
  • flat-fee costs.
  • Management of identification and location via the portal.
  • Upon an alarm, the Mobeye system instantly calls the (max. 5) set telephone numbers.
  • The message is sent to the portal as well; the portal matches the identification and locations and dispatches the message to the ‘alarm’ contact persons as SMS text message and/or email.
  • Periodically the Mobeye alarm system sends test messages (‘keep alive’) to the portal. If these are not received timly, a ‘warning’ SMS and/or email is sent to the ‘service’ contact persons.
  • At low battery voltage, a ‘warning’ SMS and/or email is sent to the ‘technical’ contact persons.
  • The portal shows the settings and historical data.
