Description

Mobeye CombiGuard CM4600 Boat Alarm or “ShipGuard”

The Mobeye CombiGuard CM4600, also known as the Mobeye ShipGuard boat alarm or ShipGuard, is an all-in-one monitoring and alarm system. This multi-sensor device monitors various parameters, safeguarding you against environmental hazards. The Mobeye CM4600 integrates a range of sensors and signals, making it a reliable tool for risk monitoring and damage mitigation. Users receive notifications in case of temperature, water level, battery voltage, potential-free sensor, or power supply issues. The device can be powered by batteries or an external source. Its communication module is capable of connecting to both 4G LTE-M and 2G networks.

The Mobeye CombiGuard alerts you in the event of a power outage, a leak, a temperature deviation, or low battery voltage. When a status changes, the Mobeye CombiGuard sends an alert via the app (iOS/Android), a phone call (voice message), a text message, and/or an email. You can set up different contacts with a variety of alarm notification options.

The Mobeye CombiGuard can operate for more than a year on a single set of batteries. It sends a message when the battery voltage falls below a certain threshold. When powered by an external source (12-24V DC or mains), it also sends ‘power failure’ messages. This is often the first indication that something is amiss and requires immediate attention.

Key Features

Key features of the Mobeye CombiGuard CM4600 are:

  • temperature sensor
  • water leak sensor
  • 2x input for battery voltage or potential-free contacts
  • (shore) power supply, or 12-24V DC
  • open collector output

An online portal and app makes set-up easy and gives the user insight into the status of the various sensors and connections.

Mobeye Boat Alarm & Boat Monitoring System

The Mobeye CombiGuard is a comprehensive boat monitoring system. It notifies you with an alarm when:

  1. the voltage of the battery exceeds its lower limit. (Two batteries can be monitored, each with its specific limit).
  2. (bilge) water is detected (bilge alarm).
  3. the upper and/or lower temperature limits are exceeded.
  4. there is a failure in (shore) power.

An additional input can be used for a sensor or fault signal, for instance if your water pump is activated.

How it Works

Mobeye CM4600 how it worksThe Mobeye CombiGuard CM4600 allows for remote monitoring of your property. When there is a status change, the alarm dialer promptly sends a notification, giving you complete control.

  1. Attach one or more of the included sensors, adapter and/or connect a battery to monitor voltage. Set specific battery and temperature limits.
  2. The CombiGuard is designed to detect any deviations in the sensors and inputs. When connected to external power, it also records power failures.
  3. In the event of a deviation, the CombiGuard sends alert messages to designated contacts via the app (available for iOS and Android), phone calls, SMS, and/or email.

Typical Applications for the Mobeye CombiGuard CM4600

Typical applications for the Mobeye CombiGuard CM4600 include:

  • Boat
  • ICT server room
  • Storage location

Examples:

The Mobeye CombiGuard CM4600 helps boat owners protect their investment and provides peace of mind when the boat is unattended by offering real-time information and control over various aspects of the vessel. It enables boat owners to stay connected to their boats, even when they are not on board, and respond promptly to potential issues or emergencies.

Moreover, the Mobeye CombiGuard can be used in various other applications where monitoring temperature, water, and energy supply is crucial. External devices can be controlled through its outputs. For instance, the CombiGuard allows you to use your phone to remotely control the AC (air conditioner) and other electrical appliances. Picture this scenario: as you drive to your property, you can easily switch on the refrigerator, heating, or air conditioning by simply calling the CombiGuard. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a warm environment.

Need a bilge water level alarm? The Mobeye WaterGuard-FS CM4300FS will alert you when bilge water reaches a specified level.

SIM, Portal & App

All Mobeye monitoring devices necessitate a SIM card for communication. The product is bundled with a budget-friendly SIM card, offering prompt access to the Mobeye Internet portal. Alternatively, you have the flexibility to use your own SIM card.

SIM
The Mobeye M2M SIM card provides the device with full functionality, allowing access to the Mobeye Internet Portal and App.

With the Mobeye SIM card, communication occurs over the 4G LTE-M network with 2G as a fallback. When you insert your own SIM card, the device utilises the 2G network. Alarm messages are then transmitted via SMS and/or call to a maximum of 5 telephone numbers.

The Mobeye SIM card is PIN-protected and exclusively functions in a Mobeye device. Please refrain from inserting it into another device. For further information about the Mobeye SIM card, visit: mobeye.com/en/sim-cards. The rate for utilising the Mobeye Internet Portal and the SIM card can be found at mobeye.com/en/sim-portal.

Free App for your Smartphone
The Mobeye Messages app is available for download from the Google Play (Android) and Apple App Stores (iOS).

Would you like to use the Mobeye SIM card, but it was not included in your package? Please contact the MobeyeStore team to request one by completing the contact form.
