Description
Mobeye GSM Smoke Detector (CM2400)
The GSM Smoke Detector CM2400 is a battery-operated smoke detector that sends text messages via an integrated GSM communicator. It detects smoke at any place, without additional cables or telephone line. Locally a siren will sound and the GSM module will take care of notifications to contact persons. The smoke alarm calls your phone and/or sends a text message.
The Mobeye smoke detector combines the Ei Electronics Ei605TYC smoke detector that is certified to the highest standards with the smart Mobeye low-power GSM technology. The GSM smoke alarm is fully self-sufficient, with a matching socket with built-in GSM module. Through energy-efficient design the Mobeye GSM Smoke Detector CM2400 will work over a year on one set of batteries.
The Mobeye CM2400 is a battery operated fire alarm and therefore ideal for empty property security, for use as caravan alarm, in temporary situations and for the protection of vulnerable people. The standard fire alarms are meant to protect people at home. The siren will awake people, that can take care of themselves. Once the building is empty or once people can’t are not able to flee on their own, the Mobeye GSM smoke alarm CM2400 is the ideal solution.
The alarm notification consists of an SMS text message and/or phone call. The CM2400 is easy to install and ready to use.
Connectable system
It is possible to link the Mobeye CM2400 with other Ei smoke detectors and / or Ei heat detectors (Ei 600 and Ei650-series). By placing the RF module Ei in the detectors, up to 12 detectors can be linked. Only one of them needs to be equipped with the Mobeye base (see e.g. the set of 3 interconnected smoke detectors).
SIM Card
A SIM card of any provider can be applied. It is recommended to use the M2M roaming Mobeye SIM card (see SIM info).
