Description

Mobeye Heat Detector CM4400H

The Mobeye 4G/2G fire detector series consists of reliable smoke and heat detectors with alarm notification to contact persons.  The Mobeye CM4400H is a combination of the Ei603TYC (from Ei Electronics) and a Mobeye communication module. The combination of Ei Electronics heat detectors and the Mobeye communication module makes fire detection extremely effective. In the event of a fire detection, in addition to the siren on the spot, a warning will be sent via the app (iOS/Android), telephone call, SMS and/or email. No cables and local telephone line are required. The set is fully battery powered. This makes installation easy. The built-in communication module can connect to the 4G LTE-M and 2G network.

The Ei Electronics heat detector Ei603TYC has a 10-year battery. The Mobeye communication module works for more than a year on batteries. A message is sent when the battery voltage is low. The Mobeye SIM card and Internet Portal provide full functionality and optimal security.

Stand-alone fire detector

The Mobeye CM4400H is suitable for situations where one heat detector is sufficient. With several interconnected heat detectors, only one CM4400HRF needs to be included in the network. The CM4400HRF contains an RF module to connect wireless to other Ei Electronics detectors.

How it works

CM4400-IEX
The Mobeye CM4400H warns people on the spot in the event of a fire, as well as contacts elsewhere. It makes the difference in helping the vulnerable and in the event of fire in vacant buildings.

  1. Activate the detector in a few steps and set up the contacts.
  2. Mount the heat detector to the ceiling in a clean and dry area.
  3. In the event of a fire, the siren sounds and the set contacts are informed by telephone.

Where are Heat Detectors Best Used?

Heat detectors, such as those offered by Mobeye, find applications in various industries and settings where early detection of elevated temperatures is crucial for safety and protection. One primary application is in fire prevention and detection systems. These detectors are commonly used in commercial buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, and residential spaces.

In commercial and industrial environments, heat detectors play a vital role in safeguarding against potential fire hazards. They are often integrated into fire alarm systems to provide an additional layer of protection alongside smoke detectors. Unlike smoke detectors, heat detectors respond specifically to temperature increases, making them suitable for areas where smoke might be part of normal operations, such as kitchens or manufacturing facilities.

Moreover, Mobeye’s heat detectors can be utilised in critical infrastructure settings, including power plants and data centers, where early detection of abnormal temperature rises is essential to prevent equipment damage and potential disasters.

In residential applications, these detectors can enhance home safety by being part of a comprehensive fire detection system. Placing them in areas prone to false alarms from smoke detectors, like kitchens, ensures a more reliable and accurate warning mechanism.

The efficiency and reliability of Mobeye’s heat detectors make them an integral component in ensuring the timely detection of rising temperatures, contributing significantly to overall safety and protection against potential fire incidents in various environments.

Typical Applications for Mobeye Heat Detector

Heat detectors are preferred over smoke detectors in kitchens, garages and other places where a smoke detector is less suitable because of too much dust, smoke or vapour. Further examples of applications are

  • buildings
  • garage
  • cellar
  • sheds and storage locations
  • stable alarm
  • server rooms
  • holiday homes
  • boats
  • campers
  • etc.

SIM, Portal & App

All Mobeye monitoring devices necessitate a SIM card for communication. The product is bundled with a budget-friendly SIM card, offering prompt access to the Mobeye Internet portal. Alternatively, you have the flexibility to use your own SIM card.

SIM
The Mobeye M2M SIM card provides the device with full functionality, allowing access to the Mobeye Internet Portal and App.

With the Mobeye SIM card, communication occurs over the 4G LTE-M network with 2G as a fallback. When you insert your own SIM card, the device utilises the 2G network. Alarm messages are then transmitted via SMS and/or call to a maximum of 5 telephone numbers.

The Mobeye SIM card is PIN-protected and exclusively functions in a Mobeye device. Please refrain from inserting it into another device. For further information about the Mobeye SIM card, visit: mobeye.com/en/sim-cards. The rate for utilising the Mobeye Internet Portal and the SIM card can be found at mobeye.com/en/sim-portal.
