Description
Mobeye Call-Key MCK400 – Smartphone Access Control System
The Mobeye Call-Key MCK400 is a secure and user-friendly access control system designed for buildings with a single access point, such as a door, gate or fence. It is particularly suitable for environments where access permissions change frequently. The system enables authorised users to unlock an entrance with a simple phone call. The alternative to traditional key management.
The Mobeye Call-Key access control system includes an integrated call-in module that activates an electric strike plate or gate controller. When an authorised telephone number places a call, the device relay switches instantly, unlocking the connected access point without generating call charges for the user. This makes the system both cost-efficient and straightforward to operate.
Access control system for safe and flexible site access
Access rights can be managed remotely via a secure online portal. Administrators can assign permanent access or define specific time-based permissions, such as selected days of the week or restricted hours. All access permissions are automatically synchronised and stored locally within the device, ensuring continued operation even if connectivity is temporarily interrupted. The Mobeye Portal also provides detailed access logs, allowing administrators to see precisely when the door was opened and which authorised number triggered the relay.
On-site internet connectivity is not required. Communication is handled through the built-in 4G module, which operates using the Mobeye SIM card. This ensures reliable and independent communication without reliance on local network infrastructure.
The Mobeye Call-Key MCK400 is compatible with electronic locks and electric strike plates that operate via pulse or switch control, making it suitable for a wide range of access control applications.
Key Features
- Call to open: Users unlock the door or gate with a phone call. No physical keys, cards or remotes are required.
- Flexible authorisations: Grant 24/7 access or set specific time schedules. Use the timer to unlock the gate during opening hours and secure it afterwards.
- Online management and visibility: Manage users in the secure online portal. View all events and access attempts in real time.
- Intrusion protection: Connect a magnetic door contact to detect unauthorised opening. The system sends an immediate alarm notification if someone forces access.
Relay Outputs
The Mobeye Call-Key is equipped with two relay outputs for lock control. These bistable relays can switch loads up to 30V/1A. Output 1 activates in response to an incoming call or SMS command, while Output 2 is controlled exclusively via SMS.
Following a predefined pulse duration or upon receipt of a new command, the relays automatically reset to their default state.
Automatic Unlocking During Set Hours
An optional timer function enables the access control system to automatically unlock a gate or door during predefined opening hours. The schedule can be configured within the Mobeye Call-Key system, allowing the locking and unlocking process to operate automatically according to set time periods.
Intruder Alarm Functionality
The Mobeye Call-Key is also equipped with two NO/NC inputs that can be connected to an alarm contact, such as a magnetic door sensor. This allows the system to operate as a basic intruder alarm.
If a door or gate is opened without prior authorisation via phone call, the access control system immediately sends an alarm notification through the app, by phone call, SMS or email.
Power Supply
The device is powered via a mains adaptor and can also be connected to a regulated 12–24V DC power supply. If batteries are installed, the system also monitors the external power supply and sends a notification in the event of a power failure.
How the Mobeye MCK400 Works
The Mobeye Call-Key unlocks doors and gates when it receives a simple phone call. At no cost to the caller, the system verifies whether the incoming call originates from an authorised telephone number before activating the relay.

- Connect the electric strike plate of a door or the motor of a gate operator to the relay output of the Mobeye Call-Key and supply the required power.
- Manage access permissions in the secure online portal, add authorised users and share the Call-Key phone number with them. Ensure users enable number recognition on their phones.
- When an authorised user calls the Call-Key, the system immediately switches the relay and opens the connected door or gate. The portal logs every access attempt and clearly shows who unlocked the entrance and which numbers were denied access.
