Description
Mobeye CM4100 + Ei428RF Kit for Smoke/Heat Detector Network
The Mobeye 4G/2G fire communication kit for Ei Electronics detectors provides reliable wireless interlinking for multiple Ei smoke and heat detectors. By placing the Ei428RF module into one detector and connecting it to the supplied Mobeye CM4100 using the included mounting and wiring accessories, the system enables all interlinked detectors to sound simultaneously when smoke or heat is detected.
In addition to the audible alarms, the system can immediately send alerts to your phone via the iOS or Android app, as well as by phone call, SMS and email. Alerts can also be forwarded to a private alarm receiving centre (ARC) for professional monitoring.
How it Works
Multiple battery powered smoke and heat detectors can be linked wirelessly and configured to report alarms through the system. The Ei428RF wireless relay module integrates seamlessly into the Ei Electronics network, while the Mobeye CM4100 alarm dialler connects to the relay and operates independently with its own power supply and backup batteries. This ensures continued operation during power failures, with automatic power-loss notifications. The Ei428RF itself operates on 230V mains power and requires a standard power lead.
Contents
Mobeye supplies a complete kit combining the Ei428RF and CM4100 with all required cabling. You will also need the desired number of Ei Electronics detectors.
Recommended Ei Electronics Detectors
The recommended smoke detectors for this setup are the Ei650RF and Ei650iRF. The recommended heat detector is the Ei630RF.
This setup requires an external power source at the site, although not at ceiling level.
