Mobeye CM4100 + Ei428RF Kit for Smoke/Heat Detection Network
A wireless interconnected network allows multiple battery-powered smoke and heat detectors to communicate with each other. This creates a fully radio interlinked fire detection system. Instead of operating as standalone units, the alarms are linked together. When one detector identifies smoke, heat or fire, every connected alarm sounds simultaneously. This gives early warning throughout the entire building, not just in the room where the incident starts.
The Mobeye 4G fire communication kit for Ei Electronics detectors delivers this wireless interconnection. It requires no landline or broadband connection. Fit the Ei428RF module to one detector, then connect it to the supplied Mobeye CM4100 using the included mounting and wiring accessories. Every interlinked detector then sounds simultaneously the moment smoke or heat is detected.
The system sends alerts straight to your phone via the iOS or Android app. It also alerts by phone call, SMS and email. This ensures critical fire alarm messages reach you without delay. Alarm signals can also be forwarded to a private Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) for 24/7 professional fire alarm monitoring. Following a confirmed alarm activation, the ARC can follow agreed escalation procedures. It can send keyholder notifications or initiate emergency response protocols in line with your site requirements.

How It Works: Mobeye CM4100 + Ei428RF
Multiple battery-powered, radio-interlinked smoke and heat detectors report alarms through the system, with the Mobeye CM4100 alarm dialler relaying these alerts off site.
Ei428RF wireless relay module
The Ei428RF integrates directly into the Ei Electronics network, linking the interlinked detectors to the dialler. It runs on 230V mains power and requires a standard power lead.
Mobeye CM4100 alarm dialler
The CM4100 connects to the relay but runs independently, with its own power supply and backup batteries. As a GSM/4G dialler, it requires no landline or broadband connection. This keeps the system operating through power failures and network outages, and it sends automatic notifications if power is lost.
Fire Alarm Communication Kit
Mobeye supplies a complete fire alarm communication kit. It combines the Ei428RF and Mobeye CM4100, including all necessary cables. The setup requires an external power source on site, though not at ceiling level. To complete the network, you’ll also need the required number of compatible Ei Electronics RF smoke alarms and heat alarms.
Recommended Ei Electronics Detectors
The recommended smoke detectors are the Ei650RF and Ei650iRF. The recommended heat detector is the Ei630RF.
