Description
Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog CML4055 – 4G Voltage Monitor & Alarm
The Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog CML4055 is a compact remote battery monitor designed for precise monitoring of analogue values, making it ideal for use as a battery guard. With two input channels measuring 0V to 48V, it excels as a 12V/24V battery monitor. When the voltage from a connected battery or sensor falls outside the preset limits, the device triggers a low voltage alarm and logs the measured values for easy access via the online portal. The CML4055 can run on battery power alone or with external power support, giving you flexibility across a range of applications — including off-grid and standby power monitoring.
Alarm Notifications and Logging
When an alarm is triggered, the Mobeye CML4055 offers versatile notification options: app alerts (the Mobeye Messages App is available for iOS and Android), phone calls with voice messages, SMS, and email alerts. You can configure multiple contacts to receive customised alarm messages. As a voltage data logger, the CML4055 sends values periodically and after an alarm to the Mobeye Portal, where values are sent periodically and after an alarm, and displayed as clear tables and graphs.
The Mobeye CML4055 runs for over a year on a single set of batteries. When connected to an external power source (12–24V DC or mains), it also sends “power failure” notifications.
Flexible Inputs and Output Control
The CML4055 has two inputs suitable for analogue measurement (AN) as well as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) contacts. During an alarm, an internal piezo siren provides an audible warning. The device also features an open-collector output for controlling external devices.
Key Benefits
- Deep discharge protection
- Adjustable alarm threshold
- Open-collector switching
- Remote, real-time battery monitoring via 4G
4G Battery Monitoring System, Voltage Alarm, Battery Guard
The CML4055 is an efficient cellular battery monitor designed to prevent damage, with no reliance on Wi-Fi or a fixed internet connection. It detects deep discharge — a common cause of battery malfunction — by triggering alarms when voltage deviates from preset limits. Its open-collector output can also switch a battery or device off in response to critical conditions.
How the Mobeye CML4055 Works
The CML4055 continuously monitors the voltage of a connected battery or analogue sensor, triggering an immediate alarm on any deviation and logging values at regular intervals.
- Connect a battery or analogue sensor to one of the inputs.
- Set the minimum and maximum analogue limits, log frequency, and contacts for notifications.
- If the voltage falls below or rises above the set thresholds, the CML4055 alerts your designated contacts. Voltage trends can be tracked online through tables and graphs.
Typical Applications for the Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog CML4055
The Mobeye CML4055 is a versatile voltage monitoring and alarm system built for accurate unattended equipment monitoring of batteries and electrical systems. It delivers instant alerts when voltage falls outside safe ranges, helping prevent equipment failure and keep systems running reliably. Thanks to its remote monitoring capability, it suits a wide range of professional and private applications.
Common applications include:
- Aggregates and generators – monitors battery voltage to ensure reliable power supply and acts as a backup for critical equipment monitoring
- Rental equipment – lets companies track battery usage and maintain operational readiness
- Boats and marine applications – gives boat owners confidence that batteries stay fully operational
- Battery maintenance – helps prevent over-draining, reducing failure risk and extending battery lifespan
