Description

Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog CML4055 – 4G Voltage Monitor & Alarm

The Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog CML4055 is a compact instrument designed for precise monitoring of analogue values, ideal for use as a batteryguard. Equipped with two input channels capable of measuring values ranging from 0V to 48V, it excels as a battery monitor. When the voltage from a connected battery or sensor exceeds preset limits, the device triggers an alarm notification and logs the measured values for convenient access via the online portal. The CML4055 can operate solely on battery power or with external power support, providing flexibility for various applications.

Alarm Notifications and Logging

AppIn the event of an alarm, the Mobeye CML4055 offers versatile notification options, including app alerts (the Mobeye Messages App is available for both iOS and Android), telephone call notifications with voice messages, text messages, and email alerts. Multiple contact persons can be configured to receive customised alarm messages. The device’s log functionality is accessible through the Mobeye Portal, where logged values are sent periodically and after an alarm, displayed in a clear table format and as graphical representations.

The Mobeye CML4055 can run for over a year on a single set of batteries. When using an external power source (12-24V DC or mains), it also sends “power failure” notifications.

Flexible Inputs and Output Control

The Mobeye CML4055 features two inputs suitable for analogue measurement (AN) as well as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) contacts. In case of an alarm, an internal piezo siren can sound as an audible indication. Additionally, the CML4055 provides an open collector output that allows control of external devices.

4G Battery Monitoring System, Voltage Alarm, Batteryguard

The CML4055 serves as an efficient 4G battery monitoring system aimed at preventing damage. It aids in identifying deep discharges, a common cause of battery malfunction, by triggering alarms when voltage levels deviate from preset limits. Moreover, it offers an open collector output that can activate the switching of a battery or device in response to critical conditions.

How the Mobeye CML4055 Works

how it worksThe Mobeye CML4055 monitors the voltage value of a connected battery or analogue sensor. It continuously measures the values to immediately alarm in the event of deviations and to log these periodically.

  1. Connect a battery or analogue sensor to one of the inputs.
  2. Set the minimum and maximum analogue limits, log frequency, and designate contacts for notifications.
  3. If the voltage falls below or exceeds the set thresholds, the CML4055 sends alarm messages to designated contacts. Voltage trends can be conveniently monitored online through tables and graphs.

Typical Applications for the Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog CML4055

The Mobeye CML4055 is a versatile voltage monitoring and alarm system designed for accurate battery and electrical system monitoring. It provides instant alerts when voltage levels fall outside safe ranges, helping prevent equipment failure and ensuring reliable operation. With its remote monitoring functionality, it is suitable for a broad range of professional and private applications.

Common applications of the Mobeye CM-Guard TwinLog CML4055 include:

  • Aggregates and generators: monitors battery voltage to ensure reliable power supply and acts as a backup for secondary systems
  • Rental equipment: allows companies to track battery usage and maintain operational readiness
  • Boats and marine applications: provides boat owners with confidence that batteries remain fully operational
  • Battery maintenance: Helps prevent over-draining, reducing failure risk and prolonging battery lifespan

CML4055 – Technical data

Contents

  • CML4055
  • 2x CR123 batteries
  • SIM card

(Alarm) messages

  • voltage alarm, input alarm (NO/NC), power failure, alarm recovery, battery low voltage, (missed) test report
  • to private contacts via app, call, text message and/or email; local piezo siren

Reporting

  • voltage values, status, setting list, event history, network strength and position based on Cell ID

Setting options

  • analogue limits per sensor, log interval (in min.), interval for data synchronisation (in hours), contact persons (unlimited number) for alarm and service messages, message texts, repeat cycles, input type, recovery messages, alarm delay times, test interval (keep-alive), etc.

Operation

  • arming and disarming via button, time schedules and SMS

Inputs

  • 2x input, settable as analogue or NO/NC (potential-free)
voltage values 0-48V with peak voltage up to 64V
  • 1x 12-24V DC (+/- 2V)

Output

  • open collector (at external voltage), max. 200mA. Switches in the event of an alarm or after incoming SMS/call

Power supply

  • 2x CR123 lithium batteries, or
  • 12-24V DC (regulated) + 2x CR123 lithium

Connectivity

  • 4G LTE-M + 2G EGSM Quad band

The Mobeye SIM card and Mobeye Portal provide full functionality and optimum security. The 4G LTE-M network is very reliable and ensures a strong penetration against low energy consumption. 2G is available as a fallback.

When using your own SIM card, the operation is “stand-alone” via 2G, without using the Mobeye Portal. The alarm notifications are sent via SMS and telephone call to (max.) 5 contacts. Programming is done via (simple) SMS commands.

Accessories (not included)

Mobeye SIM, Portal & App service

The Mobeye Portal offers a clear dashboard and essential functions, such as graphs and log values, history, status and position (Cell-Id), online programming, setting up the messages and push notifications per app. The ‘keep–alive’ monitor offers extra security by monitoring the receipt of test messages. You can activate the supplied Mobeye SIM card online.
