Description

Mobeye WaterGuard Water Level Detector CM4300FS

The Mobeye WaterGuard‑FS CM4300FS is a reliable and versatile 4G water level detector with float sensor, designed to alert you whenever the water level (or other water-based fluids) rises above or falls below a set threshold. With its robust cellular connectivity, it provides real‑time notifications via mobile app, SMS, voice call, or email, allowing proactive action before small issues become costly problems.

The device consists of a water float sensor and a compact communication box. By fixing the float sensor in a horizontal position at the critical water level, it will be closed (when the water rises) or opened (when the water level falls). This is followed by an alarm message. The device is fully battery powered, or uses external power.

In the event of an alarm, the Mobeye WaterGuard-FS sends alarm notifications by app (iOS/Android), telephone call (voice message), text message and/or email. The contact persons can be set, with multiple options for the alarm message. The Mobeye WaterGuard-FS runs for more than a year on a set of batteries. A message is sent when the battery voltage is low. When utilising an external power source (12-24V DC or mains), it also sends “power failure” notifications; this is often the first indication that something is wrong and action needs to be taken.

Mobeye WaterGuard-FS, Reliable and Effective Water Level Detector

Enables real‑time alerts for various scenarios, including remote tank level monitoring, helping users prevent overflow or water shortage incidents. Besides the included water level sensor, you can connect a second potential-free sensor, such as another float sensor or failure contact. You can easily program the settings, including alarm delay, periods of inactivity after an alarm, repeat notifications, test messages, and alarm text.

Note: For detecting water leaks the Mobeye CM4300 with leakage sensor is more suitable.

Key Benefits

  • Enables remote level monitoring and real-time water alerts.
  • Monitors water and other water-based fluids reliably.
  • Prevents overflow, flooding, and water shortage incidents.
  • Suitable for diverse applications: tanks, wells, ponds, basements, boats, and drainage systems.
  • Provides notifications via SMS, voice call, email, and mobile app.
  • Simple installation with low maintenance requirements.

With the Mobeye WaterGuard‑FS CM4300FS, you can monitor water and water-based fluids wherever you need, keeping your systems safe and under control at all times.

How the Mobeye CM4300FS Works

CM4300FS-IEX
The Mobeye CM4300FS monitors whether the water level is at or below a pre-determined level. If the water level is too high or too low, it sends a message. This way you are informed well to take prompt action.

  1. Place the box in a dry place and set the contacts for the notifications.
  2. Decide at what water height you want to receive an alarm. Install the water float horizontally, if necessary with the aid of an attachment.
  3. As soon as the water closes (or opens) the float sensor, the WaterGuard-FS sends alarm messages to the contact persons. For the push messages there is a choice between an escalation plan or group message. With the escalation plan, the recipient can confirm the push message, so that the other contacts no longer receive the message. If none of the recipients confirms the push message, a phone call is made. The number of contacts is unlimited.

Typical Applications for the Mobeye WaterGuard CM4300FS Water Level Detector

Typical applications for the Mobeye CM4300FS include water tanks, ponds, wells, drainage systems, and boats, supporting tasks such as remote tank level monitoring, flood alerts, and safety monitoring.

  • construction areas
  • ponds
  • swimming pools
  • well monitoring
  • drainage systems
  • water level in sewer pipe
  • bilge water level alarm on boats

Practical use examples:

  • A holiday home owner in the Spanish islands relies on the WaterGuard-FS as a critical safeguard for their water tank. Previously, they maintained a standing agreement with the local water supplier for weekly fresh water deliveries to keep the tank full. This fixed schedule often resulted in unnecessary deliveries and higher costs. With the Mobeye WaterGuard installed as a water level detector, the system now monitors the water tank continuously and automatically contacts the water supplier when the water level drops below the minimum threshold. This intelligent automation reduces water delivery expenses and ensures a consistent, reliable water supply without manual checks.
  • On construction sites, particularly where excavation takes place below groundwater level, continuous dewatering is essential. Pumps must remain operational until the ground floor slab is fully sealed. However, pump failures are not uncommon and can lead to rapid flooding and severe structural damage. Installing a WaterGuard with a float sensor positioned slightly above the pump’s own sensor provides an effective early warning layer. If the water pump stops functioning and the water level rises, the system immediately issues a telephone alert to designated contacts. This proactive pump protection solution has prevented substantial financial losses and project delays for multiple contractors.
  • Boat owners have also reported that the WaterGuard has prevented vessels from sinking. The most common causes were malfunctioning bilge pumps and excessive rainfall overwhelming drainage systems. By operating as a reliable water level alarm in the bilge area, the device sends an immediate warning when water exceeds safe levels. This allows owners to intervene before critical damage occurs, protecting both the vessel and onboard equipment.

Using the included Mobeye SIM card? You get full access to the Mobeye Portal and app, 4G connectivity with 2G fallback, unlimited contacts, push notifications with escalation plan, and remote programming. Subscription rates at mobeye.com/en/sim-portal.

⚠️ Using your own SIM card? If you use your own SIM card, the features of the Mobeye Portal and Mobeye App will no longer be available. Alarm notifications will instead be sent via text message and/or phone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Please note that not all mobile network operators support the call function, some additional security features will be unavailable, and Mobeye will be unable to provide the full range of support options. For full functionality, use the included Mobeye SIM card.
