Digital Temperature Sensor 10m (AC-TS-E2)
The AC-TS-E2 is a highly accurate digital temperature sensor compatible with all Mobeye temperature devices. It has a cable length of 10 metres, extendable up to 20 metres with extension cables.
Digital sensors versus RTD sensors
Mobeye uses a digital sensor for both accuracy and customer convenience.
Resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), such as PT100 and PT1000 sensors, require regular calibration. The AC-TS-E2 does not. The digital sensor element includes a high-precision ADC and an on-chip DSP core with memory to accurately calibrate the output temperature signal. Each sensor is fully tested and factory-calibrated, ensuring absolute measurement accuracy on delivery and eliminating any further calibration.
The digital technology also removes the influence of cable resistance, enabling cable extensions of up to 20 metres.
The AC-TS-E2 is compatible with the Mobeye ThermoGuard CM4200, CombiGuard CM4600, ThermoGuard TwinLog CML4255 and ThermoGuard TwinLog CML4275.
Typical applications
The sensor performs optimally between −30 °C and +50 °C, making it well suited for temperature measurement in building automation, medical and pharmaceutical, food, industrial, and mobile applications.
